Problem with downloading updates for CS6 and Camera Raw 7.4

i unable update cs6 latest updates , latest camera raw canon 6d.  error message says close adobe bridge.  photoshop closed , far can tell adobe bridge closed.  do now?

in windows, open task manager and, in processes tab, close bridge.exe.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
