Thread: Cant create bluetooth DUN connection

ive paired phone computer using bluetooth. wizard create dun connection @ end of pairing works , detects data plan etc. when try start connection says 'activation of connection failed'.

iv tried using laptop bluetooth 3.0 , desktop usb bluetooth 2.0. ive tried 2 different phones ii te same error. connections work in windows

running ubuntu 11.10.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
