i installed ubuntu onto vaio x series notebook using wubi. works fine except can't figure how rid of windows. don't have enough space both. have dual boot giving me choice between 2 operating systems. thanks.

wubi installation inside windows, can't remove windows keep wubi.
need create ubuntu cd or usb stick, boot , install on whole disk (if sure want remove windows).
during install can select erase , use disk option , erase disk , use ubuntu.
make sure copy data need first.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
