Thread: Migrate but want to keep virtualbox guest

i have win 7 guest running under natty virtualbox.
plan migrate 12.04 (when available) - clean install. have separate '/' , '/home' partition. can keep virtual win 7 intact , how ?

hi, have couple of options since have separate home partition.

1. export windows 7 guest external device have import again when install done.

2. when clean install not format home partition choose home partition new installation, still recommend exporting windows , making of other data in home partition in case goes wrong.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
