Thread: removing the windows partition

i installed ubuntu using wubi make sure work of hardware, , want remove windows partition. tried using disk utility , gparted, , when unmount windows partition, system crashes. possible remove windows partition? if so, how? thanks.

cannot remove windows partition because have wubi installation. wubi installation virtual file system in windows partition. easy way remove windows partition full install , @ 'where install' screen choose option wipe hard drive. after done automatically apart setting first user account.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
