why is there no lens profile for the Canon 500mm f4l is usm ii

no lens profile canon 500f4l usm ii .  when think included

profiles not provided every lens, rather more common , popular lenses.  don't know sure, suspect lens 1 considered more of specialty lens, , profile may not provided adobe ever.  if go adobe labs web site can download 2 applications free, lens profile creator , lens profile downloader.  downloader connect web site others have created , sharing lens profiles, , might find 1 lens/camera combination.  if don't find one, lens profile creator enable create own profile.

 

disclaimer: don't know whether adobe has plans create profile lens.  don't know if on forum knows.  have stated understanding , expectations, , have suggested couple of solutions may wish try.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
