Audio panning slider actionscript coding ???

hello,

 

i stuck. making audio mixer interface in flash cs6 , play/stop button , volume slider looking add panning left , right slider. however, have looked throughout internet , can not find tutorial actionscript coding. using actionscript 3.0.

 

i looking use slider found integrated in software. if can give me link, templates, snippets or coding. guidance great help.

the basics simple: in volume control, using ratio of sliding control's horizontal position total distance can slide. achieve set registration point of constraining line @ left end. in pan control set registration @ center of constraining line , gives positive number right , negative number left ratio.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
