Can I use Bridge SDK to surface content from database?

i'm looking solution users can work set of files (mainly images) stored in external database. wonder if developing bridge extension trick.

 

my database has api , structure similar folder tree. possible connect database bridge (users should have button that)? or bridge sdk allow me define actions triggered user on files shown in bridge?

 

if not correct forum, please post link correct one. i'm bit lost in forum structure, :-)

i use email participation on forum right, after quick glance on bridge forum website not easy find way in adobe forums…

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
