Can you remove matching lines on question quiz slide?

i have 2 matching quiz slides 8 matching items on each slide. user selects matching answers, lines drawn captivate question answer become distracting. time 8 matches complete, slide quite busy crisscrossing lines.

 

is there way turn off formatting feature in captivate? prefer lines not appear @ all.

lines (criss cross) define match in matching quiz slides programmed in captivate there no workaround remove them slide.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
