Distorted pictures in Firefox/Chrome, fine in IE

arg! driving me nuts. pictures on webpages show distorted. problem exists in firefox , chrome. no such problem in ie. know causing problem. flash! if disable/uninstall flash, problem goes away. if drag affected picture desktop, open irfanview, looks fine. if open picture firefox/chrome, problem there.

 

i've disabled hardware acceleration. new intall of browsers/flash after reformat. drivers updated.

 

i've spent untold hours searching cure, haven't found 1 yet.

 

that image tame compared see. oh, did uninstall/re-install of flash. problem continues. tia
