Export to Blu-ray: Windows only?

on page 464 of cs6 pdf states:

 

send encore dvd, blu-ray disc, or swf file creation

you can send video sequence adobe encore output dvd, blu-ray disc (windows only), or swf file.

 

that middle phrase can't true, or it? i'm on mac running adobe master suite, , never entered head couldn't make blu-ray.

all means can't use "send encore" (dynamic link) bluray. open encore , import exported file. many users prefer dynamic link bluray.

 

as whether true (pc here), no idea.

 

you try opening encore , use file -> adobe dynamic link -> pr sequence see if odd circumstance can dynamic link end. suspect not.

 

edit: did not find such limitation in encore help. "windows only" appears once in pdf - unrelated topic.
