Illustrator CS4 The hidden tools palette

for reason when hold down right hand side on mouse pad access hidden tools in tools palette in illustrator, shows alternative tools wont let me switch them eg hold down right hand pad , can see smooth tool underneath pencil cant switch tools.

it has worked in past appears have stopped working ideas?

just left click , hold.

 

the right click doesn't work in illustrator. that's photoshop or indesign thing.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
