Thread: Deleted partition by accident-how to recover?

hello,

thought plugged in new wd external hard drive macbook pro laptop went partition 1 partition work on mac accidentally had drive plugged in partitioned wrong external hard drive. can me recover stuff had on drive or rebuild partition?

appreciated!

as long have not written data onto deleted drive may able recover it.

need install gparted , gpart

code:
sudo apt-get install gparted gpart
then instructions on how use gparted attempt data rescue can found here.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
