Thread: HP Mini, 11.10, & Fan Running at full Tilt

seems problem has appeared before? here & here.

installed unity 11.10 on wife's hp mini 1030nr - upgrading linux mint 9. ok, except fan running full tilt when netbook idle. might bug?

know if there's solution this? (there didn't seem problem in live mode.) hoping find one. if not, i'm open suggestions other distros (or versions of ubuntu) can try?

try upgrading bios.
