Thread: Installation stuck at configuring target system

hello,

installing ubuntu usb hp 2133 mini netbook. installation has been stuck @ "configuring target system" past 5 hours. dont know do. please help! dont want happen vista installed. can power off netbook, , vista working?

writing, installation still stuck @ step, , going wait answer, coz dont want stupid , make netbook unusable.

is there visible harddisk activity? did install ubuntu besides windows (dual boot configuration)?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
