Thread: Recover Skype Window After Closing

good morning,

using ubuntu 11.10 gnome. if launch skype (version 2.2.0.35), log on, close (not minimize) skype window, skype instance still running , have not found way skype window back. if try launching skype again, "another skype instance running" message, way have found kill current instance system monitor.

has of found way bring skype window?

it should appear in indicator applet on panel (which might have add).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
