hi!..i typed in command. (trying unpack tar.bz2)

code: # tar vjxf r8168-8.aaa.bb.tar.bz2

terminal returned me :
at@username:~$ sudo # tar vjxf r8168-8.aaa.bb.tar.bz2

anyone have clue means? confusing

you have run in xterm:

sudo tar vjxf r8168-8.aaa.bb.tar.bz2 , without # sign, asked password sudo, type in , all.
