hi people. planing prepare customized ubuntu media desktop. advised start ubuntu mini.iso installation. non gui ubuntu envoirnment, gui want similar or exact jolios/jolicloud.



there changes in status bar. i'll need load graphics card drivers , other drivers based on usage, right?
can pls me on how can achieve kind of ui on ubuntu mini pls..?

maybe can me replace ui unity ui?



there has has suggestions... or atleast tell me if looking in wrong section..

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
