Thread: ubuntu, my nut.

hi boys , girls.. glad joined site, reason think not going happy.. hahah
got old system single core bla bla,, needs hole , shovel me needs @ min.

now, tried install on unbuntu 10.04 nessus, not new pc,s new linux , , after can call near 16 hours of trying install software jack breaking.
here,s done.. went , got software, downloaded 10.04, installed it. went terminal turn on , give old command lines.. working.
went site , reg.. key, , downloaded lot of other files, manly plug ins, dont know if installed or not? got them.
followed near every line in command, nothing working, read root, , thought.. thats me.. lol
set trying open root, , hey, turns out not have root on pc, got it, downloaded though terminal, , know off laughing right now, , please carry on, cause know close.. hahaha
bottom line is, nessus , commands, doing nothing.

throw light way??

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
