To sager or not to sager?

the past few months i've been mulling on different laptop options -- editing beast aim. recognize desktop alternative efficient, bbfyb overall choice, need portable option right now.

 

i've landed on sager , keep going them. seems have affordable, beastly, options. see limited discussion sager, or clevo on these forums , love open discussion anyones experience them, in regards premiere pro.

 

i'm thinking of doing 17" laptop -- possibly 32gb ram, ssd os , programs, , 2 decently fast hard drives outside of that. , potential of sli being supported upcoming updates -- seems affordable option. think?

the model link looks beast 6-core i7-3930k being 1 of cpu choices. there lots of configuration options sager, may more feedback forum if started getting pretty specific of how configure considering price point.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
