.AI CS6 > Font is set to black but shows up Grey. Greyscale is set to RGB.

hi, i'm using .ai cs6. trying type , font color set black. shows grey. other colors work fine. document color set rgb, not cmyk, or greyscale. i'm totally @ loss... customer needing tomorrow. fast correct reponse fantastic. been woring on artboard little on hour , can't need done. open new artboards , same problem persists.. soo have no idea problem is....

  1. select type hollow arrow tool object
  2. set fill color none
  3. if did not change inivisible, select charchters type tool beam, , set none
  4. in appearance palette add new fill, set rgb 255, 255, 255
  5. make sure transprancey set 100%, , color set 100%

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
