Changing computers but not external hard drive, how to modify and delete catalogs?

moving relatively new 2012 mac mini office home has lr4 , ps cs6 installed.   has small lr catalog want delete completely.

 

 

presently @ home, use macbook pro want take "offline" in regards photo editing, has lr4 , ps installed , attached external drive pictures want have recognized mac mini lr4.

 

 

1) can delete (from mac mini) lightroom folder contains backups folder, , following files:  lr4 catalog previews.irdata, lr 4 catalog.ircat, lr4 catalog ircat-journal, , lr4 catalog.ircat.lock?

 

 

2) how create new lr4 catalog on mini existing picture folders on old hard drive, associated macbook pro?

1) yes

2) don't create new catalog in situation; move catalog file macbook pro mini, double-click on it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
