I have installed Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169, the sound does not work in firefox 21.0 or IE 10.0

i have installed adobe flash player 11.7.700.169. sound doesnt work in firefox 21.0 or ie 10.0.9200.16540.  if install older version of flash player 10, sound works fine. however, web sites not work older versions of flash player. unable use new or old version.  threads indicate problem in sound card, not if older version , other none flash programs work fine.help

there known sound bug in version.  either use earlier version, or latest flash player beta until fixed release issued: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
