iOS and Socket - why don't work?

who know why socket on ios air don't work? it's prefect on pc not on ios

 

ios result me error 2031. want connect ios socket wifi 192.168.1.42 7840 port.

local connection between 2 air apps ok

hi,

could please try socket application on win/mac(with wifi) , see if connects server.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
