LR5 upgrade from LR5 Beta

i'm brand new lightroom , downloaded lr5 beta. impressed product (i've limited experience elements 7 digital photography - bit can't believe haven't used lr before).

 

so before import photos lr beta, making changes etc, safe in assuming when purchase product work done in lr5 beta retained , accesible in lr5?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
