Reconnect in elements 9 before registering elments 11?

i tried 'reconnect files',  appears of library disconnected.  because these photos moved revel?  if register elements 11 without reconnecting them unconnected ones displayed in elements 11? advantage reconnect can? i'm holding off on registering until have answer.

 

when open elements 9 told revel home photos there 40 or there out of 30,000 plus or minus. since there limits on how many can moved in month (is same 'uploading', or moving different process?) i'll waiting long time show up.

 

i marked last reply scott 'not helpful' because asked options , none were  offered.  seems revel or nothing.  true?  should have started making plans move long ago, in naiveté, thought revel new name same operation accostomed to, , same screens had been working appear, , seamless. appears late consider other revel shortcomings.

i have read other posts made scott replied to. scott has answered them correctly. try summarize ...

 

your keywords , categories created in elements in files still, revel not have ability display data. if not have these files in computer, can archive them using our media downloader and  continue work them in elements.

faq: how archive photoshop.com files adobe media downloader ?

 

as far accessing files after migration, not able see migrated files in revel? did migration cmplete message? possible not migrated yet.

once files migrated, can no longer add files photoshop.com, until june 18th, can still login , see files in photoshop.com.

 

i realize there few months between announcement , start of migration. folks still bit confused. adobe made business decision discontinue photoshop.com sharing , storage. since revel program adobe offers storage, offered option users if wanted move files there did not have go through manual effort themselves. revel not, however, designed replace photoshop.com. why features differ. still adding many new features revel , have had lots of input customers.

 

i understand frustration based on precious photos , information have saved. since can not give photoshop.com back, , can't give keywords in revel @ time, there other way can you? happy share information can , products if have more questions.
