Thread: AWUS036NH master mode?

i need drivers , iwconfig mode master. have awus036nh capable of mode master , know capable of high transmit power want set , if possible make adapter access point other users, everytime run iwconfig wlan1 mode master
code:
error wireless request "set mode" (8b06) :      set failed on device wlan1 ; invalid argument.
can me move along or know can go find more information on this.. have downloaded drivers alfa's website think installed them not sure. useful.

is how installed it?

scroll down ubuntu commands says "sudo getit......"
did type of commands in terminal?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
