Thread: Inputs dont work...

i have had quite alot of problems creative audigy's. can audio out on them now, audigy 2, audigy 2 nx, , audigy 2 ex. nx usb figured operate without "drivers".
problem have none of spdif optical inputs work, , im finding analog inputs dont work either.
have optical , analog going xbox nx right , neither detecting according sound panel in system settings.
same result other 2 audigy's , onboard audio too. want have sound come xbox , play through computer speakers, or through bluetooth headset. headset works flawlessly far.
ive spent of 2 days combing internet answers , banging head against wall. may driving me drink... btw im running 10.10 , gnome 2.32. not sure if helps.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
