Thread: NTP syncs my clock 15 minutes early

i can't this. watch, 2 cell phones, windows host (i'm running ubuntu on virtualbox), bbc world news, mikes (the official time in finland) more or less in same time.

if run ntpdate on ubuntu guest result moves clock ~15 minutes compared sources mentioned.

i'v tried sync ntp.ubuntu.com, 0.fi.pool.ntp.org (i finland), 0.fr.pool.ntp.org (i'm in france @ moment), , 3.us.pool.ntp.org. every time result ~15 min early.

what happens when let ubuntu update normally? should set update automatically anyway.

check, click clock (in panel) > time , date settings > unlock change these settings > set time > automatically internet. while there, check location correct.
