Thread: Oneiric: subwoofer isn't re-enabled when I unplug headphones

i'm running in 4.1 configuration on new xps-8300 appears intel hda [8086:1c20]. headphone sense seems work because speakers muted when plug in headphones, when unplug them, subwoofer not unmuted until change profiles in sound settings.

i've not touched config files because don't know change. yet

in advance answers.

it seems had few issues oneiric x64 on machine. i'm using 32-bit version , using default speaker configuration, works expected.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
