Thread: Windows does not see FAT32 partition.

i installed 11.10 usb, partitioning 2gb
fat32. although can seen (but not used?) in linux, windows not see @ all. when insert usb says need format it, , displays size [ext4 partition] instead of size of fat32 partition.

it's mounted on /windows if makes difference?

it seems reason 2gb partition not formated correctly fat32. format again. have checked gparted or tool see sure says fat32 partition. odd shows ext4 otherwise if indeed formated correctly fat32.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
