i amused when marketing people use word...

in prior cases can remember, fictional , real, use of term has been associated failure or cover-up of failure.  example:

 

  • in jurassic park 2, younger hammond gives speech describing how mission of ingen has been "reimagined", introduces concept of small local theme park vs. entire island.  mere hours before he's devoured family of t-rexs.

 

  • steven sinofsky described windows 8 reimagined.  windows 8 doesn't blaze trail i'd want follow.

 

it seems me bs term used try make sound better is.  i'd suggest avoiding use.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
