Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 Continously Crashes/Locks Up PC with Firefox & Windows 7

i'm tired of this.   if go prior version of flash works fine.   new version locks pc, "adobe flash player has crashed, reload page"

 

why version such horrible mess?  have open task manager , consistently  end plug in process.

 

then way watch videos uninstall latest version , go flash 10 works fine.

 

you know problem lot of people.  please fix it.  keep clicking on link send crash report.

i'm sorry you're going through this.  suspect might running conflict our protected mode introduced in flash player 11.4.  please try troubleshooting steps outlined in faq:

 

how troubleshoot flash player's protected mode firefox?

 

in particular, i'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) see if addresses issue.

 

in addition, go "about:crashes" in firefox's address bar , copy of recent report id links reply?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
