Crop aspect ratio not staying locked!

it seems 4.4 update bug introduced crop aspect ratio not staying locked when cropping.   changes "custom" though lock remains. do maintain standard photo size , not switch custom?  printing purposes, need ratio stay locked , dimensions standard.

on computer (windows 7) if click on little padlock before else after have activated crop tool, whatever have chosen (lock or unlock) remain in mode whenever activate tool.  if in locked position, crop tool come using aspect ratio of original image.  if in unlocked position custom.  far know, there no way have crop tool automatically open on custom ratio.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
