Does Sharepoint maintain links between documents if they are moved?

for example, if use text insets, wished move source. break links?

the short answer if move file folder, or rename file, links file broken.

 

sharepoint does not keep information how files related (which why it's not great cms applications use file dependencies).

 

the framemaker sharepoint connector adds fmdependency field sharepoint list. uses find , retrieve dependent files (text insets, graphics, chapters) automatically when open fm document.

 

in theory, framemaker use information manage file moves or renames. so, have support operations within connector (so keep fmdependency data date when change name or path).  doesn't support operations. have rename or move files using sharepoint directly, , framemaker has no way of knowing changes you've made.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
