Duplicate DNG's from Adobe converter to light room

i having issue moving or adding dng's lightroom after conversion performed adobe dng converter ~ lightroom creating 2nd folder within folder created ~ each folder having new, converted images uploaded, therefore creating duplicates ~ i'm  wondering how happening?!?

if both using dng converter , asking lr convert dng, result in duplicates. doing?

 

if not, tell use exact steps , exact settings using when go through process?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
