HDV Capture and Cannon XHA1

i editing first project shot in hdv, footage in timeline seems not smooth, , camera movement on output monitor can see video not smooth @ all. burned few dvds , got same results.

 

i shot footage in hdv 60i

when play the footage camera monitor beautiful know footage good.

i capture footage hdv 1080i 60 , have control of camera via premier.

 

but once in timeline starts bad. have spent many hours on site , cant seem find fix.

ask in premiere forum. jittery motion means have 1 of project settings wrong or hardware can't keep up, nobody can know without more information.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
