How to make child template without javascript slider from main template?

my index page boasts wow slider banner , drop-o-tron navigation menu.  make secondary page banner not include slider banner.  can done secondary pages can free of slider child template can updated when make changes index page (or parent) template?  thank you!

yes.  put wow slider/banner inside editable region.  if banner inside editable region, can fill unique content on each child page.

 

the other option use server-side includes.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
