is enforced adobe cc subscription legal in countries, e.g., in germany?

 

it enforced because adobe refuses sell current software  package. , existing users depend on features. think of macosx subscription ...

 

my point adobe, adobe cc, sells rental plan consumer -- software. software package installed on privately owned computer , entire cloud story has no legal impact whatsoever. rental rental, subscription subscription.

 

most rental plans must cover period of time sufficient purchase remaining value (cars), find alternative (flats) or have restricted price policy law can't sky-rocket (flats again). , flats , cars can purchased ...

 

a notable exception subscription-based financial software packages businesses (not covered consumer protection, obviously). such software packages need upgrade political reasons, there reason in subscription-based mode. nevertheless, e.g. speaking package used business, price nothing sky-rocketed on years (partly hidden inclusion of more , useless features -- not stupid ...). seems law because once in subscription-based model, customer trapped. , charged possible.

 

adobe no exception , real reason behind adobe cc. if purchases become enforced (rather voluntary), immoral.

 

my question is: illegal too? or parliaments / brussels make law make immoral illegal?

in biography "titan", author repeated noted how actions of rockefeller helped drive innovation in oil business, improvements transportation, finance, public safety, , on. furthermore, kept prices lower otherwise might've been, @ least temporarily, because of rockefellers desire bankrupt competition.  problem monopoly beneficial rockefeller , shareholders.  squeeze suppliers, , stifle -- eliminate (assinate?) competition.  few thought beneficial customer in long run.

 

i'm trying see how adobe monopoly different?  adobe has done job of creating innovative, leading-edge products. have been rewarded substantial market share.  have reached critical mass no longer need responsive customer needs... , can subsequently attempt dictate, doing here.

 

it going difficult many people switch because there might not other game in town... adobe has created monopoly.

 

and uncompetitive action going generate massive amounts of cash, going fuel , cement position.

 

i sure hope ftc watching this.
