Thread: Fresh install of Lubuntu, no sound with USB headset?

hi. i've installed lxde distribution of ubuntu , i'm liking far in terms of speed! 1 thing can't work audio hp usb headset.

tried going "volume control" settings, it's "grayed" out. there hardware/driver information can provide in order solve issue?

same headset works fine in xubuntu , pinguy os, it's lubuntu doesn't work in.

(side note: when enter command 'alsamixer' in terminal, doesn't show usb headset internal sound card, problem? )
