Thread: installation error: "prefix" is not set

hi,

above error while trying install xubuntu bootable cd, prior being presented installation options. when choose option, (eg. install) screen goes blank , stays way.

following advice other threads have saved screen dump windows 7 disk management (attached).

know try next? doesn't seem there progress on other thread...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
