Thread: (LUKS encrypted LVM) Ubuntu 11.10 running FSCK on every boot.

hi folks

using ubuntu 11.10 alternate cd, set luks encrypted lvm home , swap folders encrypted well. i've done many times , never had issues.

however, last 4-5 installs i've found necessary run sudo touch /forcefsck due system freezing during update. wanted force system check on next reboot make sure ok since had shut pc down manually.

in doing however, each time boot, system runs fsck (rather every 30 days it's supposed to).

there relatively easy way can resolve this?.

couldn't find way move thread "general help" forum think have larger audience , perhaps fit in better (since it's not post security rather, question booting, etc).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
