Thread: Media Server options

i got sony bravia led tv , hooked network. i'd watch of videos have on computer on it. tried connect computer directly tv via vga connector, didn't work. i've been looking @ media servers. got mediatomb work - sort of. files play , others don't and, it's user interface plain weird. i've been looking @ mythtv, since have netflix, don't need pvr. i've looked @ serviio, doesn't seem have been compiled deb file.

know of media server, easy install , configure reasonable user interface can use play videos on tv?

i have sony bravia connected pc using dvi hdmi cable. works fine. vga connection works fine. wouldn't give on trying connect directly machine. shouldn't difficult.

graphic card?

btw, i'm using xbmc, , i'm pretty happy it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
