Thread: Mouse problem... confusing me :S!

hey
i've got problem it's been riddling me couple weeks now... sorry asking on cafe it's on windows machine (barely use still fix later)

whenever plug in usb mouse computer wont work... found old 6pin ps/2 mouse , plugged in, works perfectly. it's uncomfortable since has no scroll , it's ball mouse... figured maybe usb ports broken, bought usb ps/2 converter mouse (logitech m100) see if works, not!

suggestions on should next?

is usb ports?

check device manager.

also, moved other os/distro.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
