Thread: My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen.

hello everyone,

bought new genius easypen i405x tablet 2 days ago, , followed driver installation steps (installing driver first plugging in tablet later), , started testing device.

great except small annoying problem, when hover pen on tablet surface 1-2 cm away (without touching surface tip) mouse pointer clicks on screen, right-click. drags items desktop @ area point pen, or highlight text..

i'm using windows 7 ultimate x32, tried tablet on laptop windows xp, , worked fine without problems, not clicking when hovering @ all. tried on laptop windows 7, , problem occurred again.
i'm guessing it's because of in windows can't figure out is!

i've tried changing tip, hitting pen on it's side gently release pressure thingy in case stuck, changed batteries.. etc. (those solutions found on other sites) none of them worked.

please help, want use tablet

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
