Thread: Problem with banshee player, YouTube and hdmi

hi,

having problems ubuntu 11.10

1) banshee , youtube
- player playing @ faster rate. it's plays @ 3 sec instead of 1 sec.
- results in unusable playing of media happens in firefox well
- problem disappears when use vlc player

2) hdmi port
- gb motherboard comes built-in hdmi port
- can video display on tv not sound
- tried change sound setting hdmi still doesn't work

suggestions on how overcome problem?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
