Thread: Unable to BOOT after installing ATI Drivers

i using ubuntu 11.10.
using fglrx drivers ati earlier not working efficiently downloaded drivers amd website , tried install it.
installation successful after rebooting not able start. giving following error while booting.

starting load fallback graphics devices [fail]

, halts.

tried uninstall drivers recovery mode.
when go root in recovery mode , try install showing read file ca not modify.

how can remove driver?, didn't find option boot in low graphics mode in recovery. how can boot in low graphics mode?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
