Unwanted distortion with envelope

hello everyone!
i have problem envelope distort function. left part of image shows want distort shape, right 1 close in mid corner (straight lines no longer straight... @ least horizontal ones...). ideas how fix this?

looks using make top object if correct.

 

you can use convert anchor point tool suck in bezier handles on hexagon, may make better or worse. try object >> flatten tranparency (slide vector), edit bad points , put mask on top.

 

good question, have never found perfect solution this, interersted in others have say.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
