Will Lightroom stay a stand alone product?

i have disappointed whole cc concept.  not quite true don't mind if company wants offer subscription service - don't want software way.  have no desire pay software subscription.  want buy products want , have right use them long want.  so, fact adobe going stop offering upgrades photoshop stand alone product disappointing , means staying cs5.

 

but more importantly if plan make lightroom available subscription need start planning transition now.  realize lightroom going sold stand alone product.  worried future.  can adobe make kind of statement intentions?  cannot predict far future indication sky not going fall next year.

for now, there no plans convert lightroom cloud only. remain standalone.

 

of course, adobe can change mind @ time.
