After Effects 5.5 rendering audio issues

i using after effects 5.5.  using mac os x snow leopard 10.6.8.  trying render having problems audio.  installed qt 7 problem still happening message 'after effects error: opening sound component -2166.'  help?! has ever happened anyone?

check, whether have installed specific voice-over or voice messaging software or external headset/ microphone. looks hardware driver/ codec error. beyond require more details on what's involved in comp , render settings...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
